Welcome to the Weekly Steemit Survivor Contest. No Upvote, No Resteem, No Follow Required!

This post will be both a Winner Announcement post (and YES we have a winner this week!) and an invitation to participate in the next round of the Weekly Steemit Survivor Contest which starts NOW!!

EPISODE RECAP

Another great episode this week! Episode four of Survivor: David Vs. Goliath reshuffled the tribes into three: purple, green, and orange or Jabeni, Tiva, Vuku. All tribes ended up with a majority of Goliaths and poor Carl (Caaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarl!) was sent to Exile Island - but don't feel too sorry for him, he found an Immunity Idol Nulifier while there.

In the end two Survivors went home: Bi Nguyen took herself out of the game due to injury and after Vuku was sent to Tribal Council Natalia Azoqa was betrayed by Alec, her former Goliath tribemate, who voted with the former Davids to completely blindside her. It looks like Cowgirl Elizabeth dodged a bullet this week.

But with Carl joining next week, the Davids will have the numbers in the Vuku tribe. Was Alec's move genius? Madness? We'll soon see!

WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT

We have a winner!! @suitcasemama correctly guessed Bi would leave and @stever82 and I both guessed Natalia would go home this week (although I was way off on how it would go down).

But what kind of contest hosts claim their own prizes? Not these kinds!

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

Guess who will be voted out next on the coming episode of Survivor: David vs. Goliath from the list of the 15 remaining contestants and leave your guess in the comments section of this post below by 8am EST on Wednesday October 24th.
There is no #2, that's it! If you guess correctly, you win!
Strategizing and trash talking other Steemian's choices highly encouraged!

PRIZES

The winner will receive (in order of importance):

Bragging rights immortalized forever on the blockchains
PLUS - the total amount of SBD generated from all contest posts until someone wins.
AND - at least one Steem Basic Income (SBI) share provided by contest sponsor @freedomshift through his #ccc initiative (see below for more info on #ccc).
Additional prizes may be added if we pick up sponsorships along the way.

I'm continually looking for ways to increase the prize pool for this contest. If anyone has any ideas as the week goes on, please let me know - I would love to give bigger prizes to the winners!

DEADLINE

Set in the Mamanuca Islands in Fiji, the next episode of Survivor David vs. Goliath will air 8pm on Wednesday, October 24th. The deadline for this week's contest is:

8am EST on Wednesday October 24th.

At that point I will lock your choices. A winner announcement post will follow.

The David and Goliath tribes are all shuffled now, so here is the new breakdown:

Tiva Tribe (Green) - Christian Hubicki, Gabby Pascuzzi, John Hennigan, Alison Raybould, Dan Rengering,

Vuku Tribe (Orange) - Elizabeth Olson, Carl Boudreaux, Davie Rickenbacker, Alec Merlino, Kara Kay.

WHAT IFs

If more than one Survivor contestant is voted off on this episode, that means you have more than one chance to win!
If it's a medical evacuation like we saw in the first and fourth episodes, I will treat it as if the person has been voted off.
If more than one Steemian guesses correctly, the Steem Prize will be evenly split, but the @freedomshift #ccc SBI share(s) will go to the first one to correctly guess which contestant is voted off in the coming episode.
In the case NO ONE correctly guesses this week, the Steem earned in this post will be saved up and added to the pool for the next Weekly Steemit Survivor Contest.
