Introduction | 简介

Last Sunday, I had a late lunch. It was about 3pm. At the Whampoa market along the way to the food center. I saw some greenery. After lunch, went to the in-laws home and saw a different kind of greenery. Have a look and the photos of two types of greenery I took within a few hours.

Meanwhile, some music for you to enjoy as you read.

Plants for the Chinese New Year | 年花

In many markets, there are usually a few stalls selling flowers. Sometimes, they have a few potted plants.

Close to Chinese New Year, the flowers stalls usually extend beyond their usual stalls. In this case, even outside of the market premise.

Take a look at some of the plants you can choose for the Chinese New Year.

Papaya Tree |

In a normal public housing estate, there are always trees planted under the care of the town management council but I am sure this papaya tree down stairs is not one of them.

This papaya tree downstairs is likely to have been planted by a resident which is in theory not allowed.

Look at the papayas.
