Here is my entry for the architecturalphotography contest .
Dazheng Palace is also called "Octagon Palace", and its architectural style came from Mongolian tent, which typifies Manchu style and local characteristics. And it was built in 1625 by emperor Nurhachi, who was the first emperor in Qing dynasty. And it was the most solemn place and the holy of hollies.
Grand ceremony was held in here. Such as the rites of the emperor accession, declaring war.
大政殿又称八角殿, 建筑风格源自蒙古包。带有满族民族风格和中国东北地方特色。始建于1625年，是清太祖努尔哈赤建的重要宫殿，是盛京皇宫内最庄严最神圣的地方。
大政殿用于举行大典，如皇帝即位，颁布诏书，宣布军队出征，迎接将士凯旋等。此殿为清太宗皇太极举行重大典礼及重要政治活动的场所。
