I need to break free from the prison of my mind
My limiting beliefs had me confined
I can be who I want to be
Pursuing my dreams purposefully
Breaking free from the expectations of society
Their perceptions of me, I cannot agree
What they think of me
Is their own folly
For I have the power to chart my destiny
My future will shine so brightly
Overcoming problems and obstacles
With help from my success rituals and the @unmentionables
Being a motivational blogger is my dream
I called myself @positivesteem
Spreading positivity one post at a time
Has become the pastime of my lifetime
Steemit is the platform
That has helped me transform
Living the life of my dreams and helping others
For in life we are not spectators but achievers
About This Poem
Freedom to me is the ability to do what I loved to do. For me that means reaching out to others through my motivational and inspirational posts. I hope that through my posts, I am able to impact positively the lives of my readers. I am so grateful that Steemit is able to provide me the platform to reach my readers. With Steemit, if all goes well, I will be able to achieve my financial freedom and also have the freedom to blog from any part of the world.
