As a man, you need to be strong. You need to know that life is full of ups and downs. You need to anticipate things faster and earlier. You need to build capacities for eventualities. Let her trust you to always be on top of situations and how can you be on top of situations? Only when you know life will happen, situations will threaten and nothing lasts forever, no matter how it feels today. Learn to rely on her love, as she would rely on yours. Life is full of ups and downs, and that is not always a negative thing. There is so much promise in your life, don’t let the vicissitudes of life snuff it out for you. Don’t let them deprive you the opportunity of living and being a responsible husband and father. You need to be strong for them, only then can you have a story to tell and lessons to teach your children.

As a man, we have what we call ego. Yes, we all have it. Don’t let your ego get in the way of common sense. Think with your heart as well as your head. You can’t be poor and proud, that is double tragedy hahaha. Be humble, be kind, and be reasonable. There is no crime in being unemployed for a while. That is why I said life is full of ups and downs. Don’t feel the need to be controlling because she wakes up and goes to work while you are yet to find something to do, either for one reason or the other. Life happens, calm down and it doesn’t mean she will think less of you or respect you less, especially if you are not the lazy type. This is the place of understanding I earlier stressed. Before the job you hope for eventually comes, you need to get your hands dirty. You have to be a man, and being a man means you have to take initiatives and do whatever you need to do. You need to earn her trust that the future of that family actually means something to you.

”Pursue groundedness, not the fad of the moment. Fads come and go but nobility and virtue abide.” - Leke Alder.

A lot falls on the man and this is why we attract many criticisms and rightly so. We need to do better, and be better. We are going to be raising children too, so we need to set an example for them, and they need to know how to do things and improve on them.

So, I am ending this series on this note, and I hope we learned one or two things. Like I always say, I don’t have it all together too, I have been constantly learning, as I read all your valuable comments. Thank you all for always being there and sticking around.

Thank you for your time.
