In case you missed them or want to see where it started:
PART 1
PART 2
PART 3
This project is coming along quiet nicely. The framing of the 2 walls, 3 Doors and 1 window is done. The main copper water line was rerouted and hidden for better aesthetics as well as safety. The data cables for the computers and the video cables for the surveillance cameras including the exterior camera cables have been wired and tested. The A/C guy came and serviced the unit as well as routed Return and Supply Ducts and vents.

Recessed lighting fixtures have also been installed as well as some track lighting. The electrician has wired all the lights and has installed all the required outlets in the lobby area. He has also wired in the the exit signs, as well as dimmer switches for the lighting.

Now that we have made sure that all the data and video cables work by testing each one, and all the plumbing and electrical wiring is done and test as well, now we can begin to cover the walls and ceiling with Drywall (also called Sheetrock or Gypsum). I have had to repair loose ceiling joists and other repairs along the way of hanging the Drywall. Starting with the ceiling first, I rented a Drywall Lift from Home Depot, which is well worth the money. If you have ever had to hang drywall on a ceiling, even with help, then you know the great pain it can literally be. This lift is so well worth its rental cost. They rent for about $30 a day and they also have a weekly rate.

Since this is an old building, its ceiling toward the front of it is not even with the interior part of the ceiling and therefore will require smaller pieces to be used when drywalling. This will be a bit slower. Initially it was thought that the ceiling would be leveled by adding some 2 x 4 wood on each joist that would be level with the rest of the ceiling joist but that will take even longer. I will show you later with pictures of the finished ceiling when it is done, and you will better understand.
That is it for now. The lobby and its ceiling are almost done. It is onto the rest of the interior walls. I want to thank @baracuda1971 and @czar as well as D, Baldwin, Speks and Dan the Man (not the Steemit one!). This would not be this far without their help and support. Again, thanks guys!
