Today’s post is to shine light on a project that has stemmed from the #freewrite, called #steemhome.
The Old Steemian Home; a home for older Steemians, who have all sorts of mental problems to say the least, has taken a life of its own and is now a thing!
@omra-sky started it all with his whimsical story where I became a sock puppet. Which was awesome!!!

Since this story was created, the other freewriter’s have taken it upon themselves, to move into the Old Steemian Home to continue the story. Each story is unique, and places the freewriters into the story as a character.
Any freewriter can become involved in the Old Steemian Home. And, any Steemian can join both the #freewrite, and the #steemhome by using the house as a back drop for their own posts.
All you need to do to join in, is to use the tags, #freewrite and #steemhome, and then, @ mention anyone on the freewrite list. (Please let us know if you are on this list and do not wish to be immortalized in print for our ammusment.)

It is more fun when you get to know the freewriters first, but even if you don’t know anyone, you can still jump in and join the Old Steemian Home by writing your own episode!
In addition to the Old Steemian Home being in print, @snook has added pictures of the house and the freewriters in the game, the Sims 4.
Since the Old Steemian Home has become so popular, @snook needed to start a new house to make room for all the new residents.
Let @snook know if you would like her to create you as a Sim, or if you would like to be placed a a resident in this new house, or houses to come… cause let’s face it, she is not stopping now!
