Many thanks to last week's guest judge @progressivechef for his theme "Monochrome" which inspired a rainbow of entries! In fact, I think the only rainbow colour we didn't have was blue, but since our participants these days seem to favour natural over artificial then it's not surprising really, as naturally blue food isn't so common (but the juice from purple cabbage and blueberries would make an interesting combination...hmmmmm). I have to say I really enjoyed viewing all of the entries, especially since originality was unavoidable and everyone was forced to get really creative. Love it. And that's what most pleases @progressivechef too... As you may have noticed from his Steemit name he is all about taking culinary skills to new levels! So, I congratulate all the winners of this Monochrome round, and to those who didn't win this time - congratulations also on bringing these very unique and delicious recipes into existence! YUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's the easy bit, though picking winners is not quite as easy since we get so many awesome entries every week. For those of you who have never entered this challenge before - it's very easy! We have a different theme each week, and all you have to do is prepare a dish appropriate for the theme, and also ensure you follow the general rules of the challenge (which are in every 'new theme' post). You don't have to be a master chef - just try to be creative with your recipes and take beautiful photos, since unfortunately we can't taste the entries so you must help us do this with our imaginations! Original recipes are encouraged, but you may use someone else's recipe as long as you credit the original source.
