Her favorite thing to do is read books. I couldn't be more proud of her. We read to her every night before bed and have done so since she was a baby. I remember when she was about a week old, that is when I started to read books to her. At first my husband would say, "Isn't she just a little young?" He quickly realized that it wasn't a bad idea and started reading to her daily too.
Recently, we have found some books that were packed up from the move. It was beautiful outside and we couldn't resist taking advantage of that. She picked out a few of the books that she really missed and we sat down on the grass to read. The joy on her face was priceless. Nothing beats fresh air and a good book! Of course the dog had to join in on story time as well.
