How To ALWAYS Be Happy While Working



If you consider the fact that working 8 or 9 hours a day constitutes a third of the 24 hours in an entire cycle of day and night, you can presume that more than half our active lives is spent working.

It is not uncommon to think unpleasant things while we work whether at home or at an office in a day job. Day job workers have the fear of the boss, deadlines and targets to achieve while the work-at-home folks make their living online. Both have income and money to be thinking about.

In recent times fear of losing one's job is the biggest worry. Similarly working online may mean chasing daily income targets which when not achieved generates a considerable amount of anxiety.

So how does one be really happy while at work?

The answer lies in using the imagination optimally to focus on things that create a happy feeling. Few know that the brain interprets things that happen in reality and something that is imagined, in almost the same manner - at least initially until it is able to figure out the difference.



This can easily be used to our advantage to decrease stress and anxiety while at work. Those who imagine positive things happening to them are able to maintain a higher level of happiness as compared to others.

For example someone at a day job may imagine the boss appreciating the work done by him(or her). This will make his brain simulate the responses that will occur when he is actually praised by his boss.

Feeling positive is not that difficult if you use your imagination.

There are three ways to make sure that you are always happy when working.

Starting the day on a positive note

During the first hour after waking up make sure that you have positive thoughts by thinking about events during the day and imagining them turning out well for you. If you are at a day job think about a client meeting going well for you or helping a colleague and earning appreciation.

While doing this it is important to try and create the emotions within you when the event is happening.

Using positive imagination at intervals

There are various situations during the day that you may come across. It may be a meeting or a presentation or a new project that is coming up. Before each beginning of situation take a break to create a new imagination around the situation. It may seem a bit difficult in the beginning, but once you start practicing it you will find it easy.

Imagine that each situation will end well, and recreate the emotions associated with it.



Ending the day on a positive note

At the end of the day most people are tired and usually dread the next day with the stress associated with dealing with the unknown.It doesn't have to be like that.

Imagine the best day possible and feel the emotions inside of you. If you are a lady think about receiving some beautiful flowers. Or just imagine your boss in his best mood, or your project turning out to be easy and on a fast track to completion. Whatever makes you feel good and generates positivity within you. You might even find it funny but if you smile while imagining it so much the better!

Not all that you imagine will come true. But the fact that you are imagining positive results to situations will increase your happiness and reduce the stress and anxiety that accompanies work every day.
