Talk of the Line #5 (5-1-2018 Recap) -@thesteemengine Live Curation Voice Chat

Voice chat is one of the great features of Discord that often goes underused.

At @thesteemengine, we're all about connecting users in order to improve engagement across Steemit. Yesterday, we hosted the second edition of our new Talk of the Line segment, where we invited members to come on a voice channel in our Discord server and talk about their most recent posts!

@AwakentoLife is back in Croatia in the offseason of his basketball career, so he was back to cohost this week!

I must say, Episode 5 was probably the best session we've had yet! We had a record number of people participating on Discord, with around 25 people in the voice room at the same time!

It was great to hear from a variety of members!

Chatter

This was one of the most fun-filled shows we've had so far, which featured many fantastic moments such as @ethandsmith being surprised by @Shadowspub, @klynic igniting a very interesting discussion about what's appropriate as a romantic gesture, and somehow, my YouTube videos made it back for a second week in a row.

We also had a great discussion about the state of Steemit after @bafi shared his recent blog. I encourage you to listen and visit his blog to leave your thoughts.

In Closing

It was another great session. Probably our best yet. It's been very encouraging to see so many people participate in the show! Thanks to everyone who participated and made this show great! We hope to see you next week!
