Hi Little Kitty - Day 102 - Daily Haiku

Hi little kitty
glad you found your food at last
no need to be scared

Cori MacNaughton

Obviously our little barn kitty finally found his food, even though it took him the better part of two days. And managed to knock over his water in the process, so evidently his injury has made him a bit of a klutz when it comes to precision jumping.

That said, all the food was gone, and the towel in the cat carrier was disturbed, so apparently he managed to make it both inside of and on top of the carrier, which is no mean feat, since where I left it that takes some doing. So life is good, and our little kitty is figuring out that he's the new barn kitty, so all is well and as it should be.

Melaleuca, a company that has been making natural, eco-friendly
products since the 1980s, that not only work as well as
chemically laden versions from the supermarket,
but are safer, and typically save money overall in addition.

I was introduced to them by a co-worker in 1990, lost track
of them, and was thrilled to find them again about a year
and a half ago. I strongly recommend their products.

All words and images are my own.

The first photo is of some of our spring plants bursting forth on the way to the barn; a young oak sapling in the foreground, a weeping bough of forsythia overhead, and framed within, a lovely bush getting ready to burst into full bloom in the next few days, which i have yet to properly identify. It's gorgeous, though!

The photo of our dog, Lolo, and our late cat, Miod, I took as they were cooperatively begging at the dinner table, despite our longstanding rule of not feeding them from the table.

You can see how much that deterred them both.
