Congrats to @cyemela for the winning the July 24 Twenty-four Short Story Contest

Winners and Entries for the July 24 Twenty-four Short Story Contest

Wow. 19 entries this week.  Nineteen!  I do believe that is a record.

Which makes it very hard to pick a "winner."  Many stories this week could easily be considered winners.  But it is the way contests are set-up.  There are just some solid stories this week.  I hope you check them out.

So let's get to it.

Five Steem to  cyemela for his entry about Mr. Dodd.  i just loved the description of the quirky lonely man.  It seemed very British to me and that caught my attention.  Read all the way to the end for the "secret."

Three Steem to  beekerst for The Blue Glass Monocle I loved the use of a monocle in this story.  And I was reminded of the M. Night Shamlayan movies Unbreakable, Split, and the upcoming Glass, it is normal people with superhero powers.  In this case, superhero objects.

One to Steem to  jackofcrows for his story Who is M. Turchi?  I loved this story  of a man in an apartment building who is able to watch and keep track of everyone comings and goings very detailed.

I think all of these are new to the contest and new winners.  So that's great!
