Why does the heaven have different colors at different times?

DSC_0227.JPG

The sun rises in east, and the sunset is in west. The sun sheds light differently over the earth at dark and light times. It is getting darker from 20 June or 21 June, and it is getting lighter from 21 December or 22 December.

The sun goes up and down the horizon on the ground. It is different colors at the heaven due to the situation that the sun hits a thick layer in the atmosphere. There are particles in the atmosphere. The sunlight is broken, and the different colors in the sunlight are broken differently. Therefore there are different colors in the sky from time to time. Through all times in history, this has been the reality.

The different colors at heaven are due to the fact that the sunlight is broken through oxygen and nitrogen particles in the atmosphere. The light from the sun contains all colors, and therefore the light is perceived as white in the sky.

When the sunlight moves through the earth´s atmosphere, the sunlight hits oxygen and nitrogen molecules, and this divides the light. The oxygen and nitrogen molecules are the most prominent components in the earth´s atmosphere, and the light is after that scattered with different wavelength in the sky, and therefore the colors in the sky is different in the sky through all landscapes and all oceans at the earth. The blue light is spread most, and it is therefore the most prominent color in the sky! The green light travels undisturbed through the atmosphere. Yellow and red light is long wavy, and does not spread much at all.

When the sunrise and the sunset is happen in the horizon, the light must pass though much more of the atmosphere than the sunlight is standing higher in the sky. Therefore, one gets more colors in the sunrise and the sunset than during the day time. Blue light is much spread, and red, orange and yellow lights are more typical at sunset.

During the night, there is no sunlight in the atmosphere which can be spread. Therefore the sky is black!

But how can we explain clouds in the sky? Clouds are water vapor or water that evaporates to water drops. The clouds can be dark or bright. The dark clouds are clogged with raindrops. This type of clouds are larger and a bit more heavy than other clouds. The light clouds consist of tiny drops. When it comes rain from the sky, the clouds are being empty, and they disappear! The sunlight breaks through the atmosphere and sheds light on the dark clouds. They therefore seem darker! The sunlight also sheds light on the bright clouds, and they therefore seem brighter. The cloud´s color is due to the fact that the sunlight is reflected and absorbed as it passes through the relevant cloud in question.

The clouds are constant or in motion. They change the size and the composition due to the wind direction.

Red, orange, purple and pink clouds are found when the sun is low at sunrise and at sunset. Especially this is seen in the morning, in the afternoon and in the evening. It is due to the fact that we get a wide angle in the refraction of the sunlight.

Sometimes, especially in large cities in the world, there could be a lot of air pollution. You get smog in the lavatory, and that can be a problem! If there are ice crystals in the sky, the sunlight is broken, and then you get orange color in the evening!
