Calling all ARTISTeemians, of all genres, all mediums and all expressions.

In about the past 3 months, 45 artists have come together to alter 14 images to create 210 incredible, original works of art.  Our artists community and our portfolio area building into a magnificent array of collaborative beauty. Our friendships are deepening , and we are bringing great value to the Steemit community.   It's PRICELESS to receive and give such support, feedback, mentorship, an instant audience, a family of artists, and a greater community of Steemians.  Nearly every artist has made a post about their transformation of my original image, sharing our works, and inviting others to join should they be so inspired.  The diversity in artistic expression is astounding, and our works are being shared in several languages across many mediums. 

One of the most profound aspects of this experience that I REALLY LOVE is that the artists are engaging because they want to engage, not for the sake of money (especially noticeable as most of our posts are not raking in the dough yet).  Approaching the collaboration (and life) from the perspective of

 "What Can I Give?"  

instead of  

"What Can I Get?".  

literally changes 

EVERYTHING!!

That one little shift in perspective is what really makes a community work -- bringing what one has to the table, and sharing it prolifically and joyfully, simply for the sake of love. 

**Giving abundantly and freely from the heart !!** 

The love in every single one of these creations is tangibly extraordinary.  

There is no competition here, just collaboration, cooperation, camaraderie, and mutual support.  We are creating together something never seen before, and we are building it from the ground up.  We are seizing this opportunity to share great works with the world.  I'm truly grateful for all those who bring their creative spirit to this community.

This is how we do it:

MY OFFERING 

In honor of love, I offer you "Ethereal Presence"  

to be used as a base for the collaborative piece.

For me, taking and/or choosing an image is one of the most fun parts of doing this collaboration.  I get to see so many possibilities in the image, finding the primo choice with good balance, interesting enough to intrigue and simple enough to leave room for infinite possibility.  I chose this image in honor of love, the alluring  RED that excites the senses - the color of passion, the fire within, action and spicy romance.  I believe you may already know what is going on in this image, but it may be fun to guess since I'm not going to tell you yet.  You can share your guesses in the comments below.

TRANSFORM IT
Print the image or do whatever it is you do
to add to/or alter it.
(i.e., including but not limited to painting, drawing,
adding other photographs, collaging,
altering it digitally or however you wish . . .or perhaps even adding a tune, poetry, a story, a gif, a video, a book, or other imaginative play.

You can make as many versions as you'd like--we wouldn't want to stifle ourselves!

We're artists, so anything goes!

MAKE A POST ABOUT IT
sharing your process and anything about it that inspires you.

Note: Making a post is not a requirement to play, so don't let any time constraints or "rules" get your patties up in a wad.  But, if you do make a post about it with your process we can share our works more prolifically and people will likely be intrigued by seeing how it developed.  I know I will!
