Japan's Major Energy Supplier Accepts Bitcoin Payment Plus Discount
Remixpoint, a Japanese energy supplier involved in a number of energy-related companies has recently launched a new electricity service that accepts Bitcoin payments to serve the customers of Japan.

Along with the service, the company offers a discount for every payment made with Bitcoin which amounts to as much as 3% in fees.
The company also has a cryptocurrency exchange subsidiary called Bitpoint which processes the Bitcoin payments.
A Vocational School in Switzerland Now Accepts Bitcoin for Tuition
Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts just announced recently that they are now accepting Bitcoin payment for class tuition.
The school is well-known in the country which offers courses both in German and English and specializes in financing, economics, international management, art, music, animation and 2D & 3D design.
The Blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies are currently a schools research focus for continuing and executive education programmes thus, according to them its is only natural for them to accept Bitcoin to gain more and better understanding.
Taiwan to Support the Adoption of Cryptocurrencies and Development of Blockchain Technologies in the Country
Rather than following China and South Korea down roads of restrictive regulation, Singaporean government is moving towards adoption of the cryptocurrencies and bear upon the development of Blockchain technologies in the country.
News shows that Wellington Koo, chairman of Taiwan's Financial Supervisory Commission declared a joint session of parliament and cabinet that the country would not create regulations against the technology.
Other government officials sees the technology as an opportunity for Taiwan to embrace innovation and seize economic growth, emulating Japan treating cryptocurrency as a highly monitored, highly regulated industry like securities.
Taiwan will also take relaxed stance on token offerings or ICOs in the country.
