An Indian Self-drive Rental Firm Now Accepts Bitcoin Payments

Having raised $10 million in funds, a car sharing firm in India called Drivezy is now accepting Bitcoins and plans to launch an Initial Coin Offering.

Drivezy has successfully raised funds from American and Japanese investors, including Axan Partners with an equity stake investment in the company of $5 million.

The company has over 1300 vehicles across four cities in India and still growing.

They are also coming out with an ICO to raise a total of 17,625 Ethereum coins.


Circle Reveals Open Source Blockchain Project for Digital Wallet Interoperability

Using the Blockchain technology, Circle, a consumer finance startup is currently working on a project that will allow dissimilar digital wallets (consumer wallets and merchant wallets) to exchange money and value directly in a safe and an inexpensive way.

The project is called Cent Rounting Exchange (CENTRE) and will allow both person-to-person and person-to-merchant payments which will be built on existing Circle technologies.

Founded in 2013, Circle started a bitcoin exchange platform and later on provided a mobile payment platform called Circle pay where users can hold, send and receive cryptocurrencies.
