Hi all! It's been an interesting week. Good luck to all in the #ultimatecrochet contest! I enjoy seeing how creative people discover each other on Steem via these posts. It's inspiring to see the way our community encourages and supports each new member. You welcome everyone into the family and make them at home. Thank you.
Okay, so a quick personal update. That sweater from hell is still in process but I'm getting there. So...the night before my daughter's birthday dinner we decided to have an adventure and bus downtown to get her a gift card from her favourite vegan restaurant. Long story short: it rained, we missed a bus and made it just as they closed the doors. But we made it. LOL! I will finish this sweater.
Now the rush is over I can get back to posting. My appologies on the tardiness of Part 2 of "I Want Quality Needles...What The Heck Do I Buy?" Stay tuned.
Onward to today’s rambling
Ladys: A Beautiful Quilt
@trixie shared a photo of her friend's amazing quilt. She hopes we'll like it. It's an ingenious work of recycled, quilted, eye candy goodness. Take a look and tell her what you think. Maybe her friend has some more quilts in her closet.

The Screaming Beauty That Crochet Brings
In a little plaza in Tamiya, Basak, Lapu-Lapu City (Philippines) @sissyjill found Fiberartists working on their crocheting. This post has eye candy. I love creative yarn bombing and this post fits the bill!
Origami - Improvement Journey Part 1
@ivan-g is making me want to learn origami. Using his book "Advanced Origami" he has folded, for the first time, four different figures. These look fun and challenging....and maybe a little frustrating. You're a very patient person @ivan-g.
How to Sew a Circle Top
@farie has shared a straight forward tutorial about sewing a circle top. I think this pattern looks like it would be fairly simple to alter for different styles. Thanks @farie.

Do you remember when I meantioned "that guy with the chainsaw"? Well @jonatftforest has skill. ** Adult Content ** He has carved some tiki stools and they are fantastic. Don't miss this post.

Developing the Creativity of Children in Classes | Box For Socks - TUTORIAL
@saracampero's tutorial is geared for children but I think these would make beautiful gift boxes for hand knit socks or gloves. And it would be fun to do the kids in our lives. Thanks for the inspiration @saracampero.
Until next time friends...
