This super simple taco (meat) recipe is so easy and delicious, honestly, maybe the ease of this makes it so delicious? I'd make it every night if my husband would not complain after the ... third night. Hahah.
Ingredients
- 1 lb Ground Beef (turkey or whatever meat you prefer)
- 1 small can Diced Green Chilies
- 1/4 cup Broth or Water (I just use chicken broth, cause I always have it on hand)
- 1 tbs Flour
- Salt & Pepper to taste
Directions
- Cook Ground Beef until brown and drain.
- Stir in can of Diced Green Chilies.
- Pour in Broth and Flour, stir.
- Let sit in pot/pan on stove to simmer for just a few minutes while the sauce and juices thicken up.
Done, that's it. The meat is complete! Now stuff that into some flour tortillas, shred some cheese on top, and throw on some of your favorite salsa. If you wanna be healthier, add some green stuff. Then proceed to pig out.
It's got such a delicate flavor that is so satisfying. I do think that because it only takes a short time to prepare, it tastes better. If you try it, lemme know what you think!
