So far i have read one of this guys books, "Rich Dad Poor Dad", I loved it and I've read it a couple of times. He really wrote in a manner that I could relate with.

This guy has been super successful and done so many things.

He has shared so much knowledge with people that it's hard to pick a single quote so you will see more of Robert Kiyosaki in future posts.

The quote I picked for today is:

"Hoping drains your energy. Action creates energy."

This statement could not be more true.

I used to call hope a reverse manifestation.

I've also heard it said that hope is undiscovered disappointment.

"Now wait a minute...

Is this guy going to tell me that there is something wrong with hoping?"

"Is he trying to crush my hopes and dreams?"

An astounding YES!!! to the first question.

As for the second question, I would actually like to show you to convert all your hopes into dreams!

So, what are Robert and I trying to say?

First of all, we covered the power of action in #8.

Taking action actually gives you more energy to take more action and is a beautiful cycle.

For the sake of brevity, I will be focusing today on hope.

When you hope, think about how you feel.

Quite normally when a person hopes for something they are actually thinking of the lack of it.

They are believing somehow that they cannot get it.

They are speaking from despair.

People hope when they see no other option.

When they feel desperate.

When they don't believe it will happen.

If you want something to happen you have to believe it will!

You have to know it's achievable!

Think about it, what have you hoped for lately?

Go back and analyze how it feels when you hope for that thing.

Do you feel excited?

Does it feel like this thing is right around the corner for you?

No, it doesn't.

It feels out of reach, you may even feel directly sad or angry.

I once brought this up to an old mentor of mine and asked him what I should say instead because I wanted to stop using this as a default.

After about 12 hours he finally said, "I seek to embrace the unrealized.".

If you break this phrase apart it does nearly perfectly cover it, however I will put it to you a bit simpler.

Instead of saying I hope I get this or do that or become this, say that you think it, believe it or know it.

Because if you think it, you believe it or you know it, then you will achieve it!

It's really that simple.

Which feels better?

"I hope I get that job."
"I know I will get that job."

Kinda obvious once you really think about it isn't it?

However you do have to be congruent. You do have to resonate with what you are saying.

In other words, you cannot just say that you think, believe or know something.

It also has to be true.

You have to really think, believe and/or know it!

So when you find yourself hoping for things remember that hope is a reverse manifestation.

Remember to think, believe or know it!

Remember that:

"Hoping drains your energy. Action creates energy."

Then stop hoping and take action!

Thanks for reading.
