She sits in a fork.

I continue my macrophotography experiment with Nina, my doll. Now I invite her to climb a tree. I am looking for the effects of wood and leaves as the basis and background of this photo shoot. Here is the result.

The Story

You know Nina, right? Yes, her full name is Ninabobo. She's a loner girl who always carries used tin everywhere.

Today she learns to climb a tree. It is a big jackfruit tree. The tree is half dead.

"I can not get any higher. I could fall," she said.

She stops at a fork, then sits down. As usual, she is thinking again. I do not know what she's thinking. Maybe about you, me, or coming simultaneous governor elections, hoax news, #deletefacebook, Bitcoin's plummeting price, steemians who collect pennies of Steem, Big Bad Wolf who will eat your money, the price of poetry in the paper that does not go up, and so on, and so forth.

She was still pondering on the tree when I left her for working.

Ini kelanjutkan eksperimenku bersama Nina, boneka kecil yang tak pernah mengeluh. Kali ini aku mengajak dia memanjat pohon. Aku mencari efek kayu dan daun sebagai dasar dan latar pemotretan kali ini. Inilah hasilnya.

Kau kenal Nina kan? Iya, Ninabobo lengkapnya. Dia gadis penyendiri yang selalu membawa kaleng bekas ke mana-mana.

Hari ini dia belajar memanjat pohon. Pohon itu besar sekali. Pohon nangka yang sudah separuh mati.

"Aku tak sanggup lebih tinggi lagi. Nanti aku jatuh," katanya.

Dia memutuskan untuk berhenti di sebuah percabangan, lalu duduk. Seperti biasa, dia kembali merenung. Entah apa yang dia pikirkan. Mungkin tentang kamu, aku, atau pemilihan kepala daerah serentak, berita hoax, #deletefacebook, harga Bitcoin yang anjlok, steemian teri yang mengumpulkan sen demi sen Steem, Big Bad Wolf yang bakal menghabiskan kocekmu, harga puisi di koran yang tidak naik-naik, dan sebagainya, dan sebagainya.

Dia masih merenung di pohon itu ketika kutinggal pergi ke kantor.
