M.M.M. # 19: Recuperation, Rejuvenation - Collaborative Art Journey...

I not only interpreted @everlove's somewhat ominous and telling photo of paint peeling into a musical expression, but while doing so, I put forth intentional changes in the overall emotional character of the song because it is dedicated to my older sister Desiree, older by one year, who's birthday is today and I completed the song early this morning.

This is an excerpt of the explanation I included in a deep letter to my sister:

"Words cannot express what we know and I hope this does justice for what it stands for. The Flamenco guitar and all the other instruments I play in the beat represent the ups and downs that we have endured and experienced from childhood up until now, and even though we have seen, felt, and been inflicted by some really dark moments,

there are always good things to look forward to in this life and the next.

This entire piece dedicated to you reminds me of a long journey, more than just a family road trip that we've had, but more so a life long adventure across various terrains through the turmoils and trials that life throws at us. This song is to show you musically, that I love you. You will be just fine! Happy Birthday Sis"

I worked really hard on this one, the longest time spent on any of the C.A.J. (Collaborative Art Journey) beats so far and I hope you all enjoy it for what it's worth.
