A weekly recap with all the latest on team news, player form, injuries, betting angles, ...

Charleroi

All the same angles still go for Charleroi who played a good match against a poor Mechelen last week winning 2-0 at home. Underish team, Live under and/or underdog when they get ahead in a match as they tend to crawl back and win by a 1 goal margin very often.

Mechelen

Last week's performance was really poor, mechelen are on my potential fade list right now, especially away from home. Overall quality is just not good enough and they made a step down in my opinion after coach Ferreira was fired. Bandé is an important player who they need to provide some scoring power.

Moeskroen

Moeskroen are currently in a bad losing streak and their scoring has also slowed down after scoring a goal each match early in the season. I expect them to focus more on defense especially in away match.

Anderlecht

Anderlecht has too many ups and downs right now and are not yet showing a real playing system. They did manage to take the points home and have been a solid away team in that regard. They played an excellent match against Bayern in the CL. This situation in the past always gave an underperforming match in the league. They are wait and see live and can be bet on or against depending how the match plays out.

Eupen

Eupen for the first time played under their new coach Makelele and all previous angles are out of the window. Focus seems to be mainly on the defense even in a home match. They nearly had success with this formula. For me it's a potential fade and over live if they are behind with enough minutes on the clock.
Once they shift focus to offense, their defense should be easy to break.

Antwerp

Antwerp had a lot of luck on their side so far this season being in 5th place.
I'm will be looking for the pattern to reverse. Overs if they get behind and late in the match remains the main focus point for my live bets on their matches.

Kortrijk

Kortrijk with a new coach managed to win in what was a coin flip match overall despite the 3-0 lead. They took a 1-0 lead in the 1st half and started the 2nd half all in defense which should be a good indication on how they will play in away matches. After 3-0 with 2 counter goals they nearly gave it away. I'll be looking for potential unders and spots to see them blow a lead again.

Stvv

Stvv had their share of luck this season, but only played 1 really poor match (against eupen 4-4). Right now not a team I have a strong opinion on

Standard

Standard showed some good form a couple weeks back, but don't seem to be able to keep it up. They have a really hard time to break down a defense. Coach Sa Pinto still hasn't convinced me and I'm putting them back on my potential fade list.

Oostende

Oostende came for a point and mainly defended even before the red card.
They right now have one of the better defenses in the league and manage to keep clean sheets. Unders are on my watchlist along with backing them on the current good streak they are on.

Zulte-Waregem

Zulte-Waregem are nowhere compared to the early season.
It looks very much like they are not used to the extra matches from the Europa League and are losing a lot of points.
The betting angle I took last week still goes and worked out as planned in the match against Nice. Late over and fade if once they go kamikaze when being a goal down.

Genk

Genk still is not in their old form and is wait and see. They are having something of a scoring issue as many of the strikers are out but have been really strong defensively. Odds on the under seem to be adjusted to the situation though.

Club Brugge

Poor 1st half from Club Brugge, strong 2nd half. They have been very consistent when it comes down to taking the points. They still look very vulnerable in the back and have a goalkeeper problem. Over has good potential along with them not keeping a clean sheet.

Waasland

Really good first half from Waasland who deserved the lead and got robbed big time by the ref. They weren't able to keep it up in the 2nd half and their defense was too sloppy not to get punished.
I still like them as a team to bet on.

Lokeren

Lokeren are in a bad spot and are mainly talking about getting enforcement during the winter break. They are high on my fade list right now.

AA Gent

Gent won 0-3 which is not a real reference as Lokeren played poor and got a red card. For me they still haven't solved the issue of not being able to break down a defense.
