Costs
Here is the breakdown of the expenses for the First Stop of the Caravan. The cost of the projector is a one-time cost and is capitalized over six months of the Caravan. Most of the cost of Steemit account creation are delegation and are recoverable.
We always envisioned the Caravan to be free for participants. We also wanted the venue to be comfortable to ensure that the attendees will be able to learn and take away a few things from the presentation to potentially make their Steemit journey more meaningful. The cost associated with the Power Up Challenge came later in our effort to follow-through to one of the most important things we covered in our presentation - powering up for the long-term.

Applying capitalization for the on-time cost and the recoverable Steem Power delegation cost over six months of the Caravan. The overall cost is 89.55 SBD. Although it will look as though we are spending more than what we actually generate by posting about the Caravan, we both see it in a very different way. We made new friends, we are influencing a change in mindset, and we are living up to @SteemPH's vison around Building Communities and Enriching Lives through Steem and Steemit.
We have other activities that are funding this initiative, and will continue on reaching out to our fellow Filipino Steemians all over the Philippines. Changing mindsets, building communities, enriching lives one location at a time.
Accounts Created via SteemInvite
Using @pharesim's SteemInvite I have created five accounts so far on behalf of the participants and their friends. We have explained the conditions here. The conditions are mostly about building the new Steemians own Steem Power so I can lend them to someone else.
I see this act as a loan, and the interest is having new friends and growing the user-base in the Philippines. We have been told that current wait time gets to about a month now, and in my calculations, with enough activities a user can build their own 15 Steem Power over thirty days. Four of the five accounts I helped create already have posting activities. Three out of four self-introductions linked below made over $10 payout value. At which rate, I may be able to take out my delegation to use in the next stop of the Caravan in Cavite.
