Dear steemians,
8 Mach was International Women's Day to celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievement of women all over the world. Women contribution to the family as a housewife is not considered when we count national GDP and they can't be part of the economic development of a country until having an opportunity in many developing countries.
As an individual, I wanted to be a successful business entrepreneur by benefiting a mass number of people in my country and all over the world. The women skill development by training is one of the most important fields we need to focus. Moreover, When women empower herself, she can support a whole family. My wish is to develop the @WomenEmpowerment as a role model of a social venture which will give maximum benefits to the workers and also generate profit from sales. It will not only benefits the women alone but also myself. It will also help my school @SchoolForSDG4 to get some revenue in future. I don't consider myself as charity person but as a responsible citizen in this world. As I have the ability to promote the people and have the willing mind to support my community, so why not I help. Life is only for few years and we should do what we love to do.
I am happy to accept any kind of support for the venture. if you read some post from @WomenEmpowerment, you will find that we are raising fund for the materials and many other causes. You can support us for development of the project. Please remember that @WomenEmpoowerment is not fully a charity, It is a social venture which has the intention to make a profit in future. Till to date, we have not made any profit as our overall cost is more than our total sales. We are just investing and to make the project sustainable we need to invest in shop, need to invest in materials we need and many other things.
Ultimately, the project will support 100 of women in future. We are buying a sewing machine soon and I am waiting for some money I received from steemit. We also received huge financial support from @r2cornell . He is helping the projcet from the beginning on steemit.
Ashnara made a cloth for her children. I felt very happy because of her work. She made the cloth without a sewing machine. It made me proud and more confident about her. When I will see their development more, I will invest more for their development. The trainer of the @WomenEmpowerment is more cooperative and supportive for the trainees. I bought some materials for them last week.
Let's hope they will overcome their difficulties and make their dream true.
