Peculiar dwellings in Kandovan village

[16/12/17]
Tabriz didn't impress me much, it's rather bleak and industrial city, even with all its historical value. There is, however, a very beautiful place nearby, Kandovan village. My CS host took me and another surfer to this place and we were very glad to be there.

That's the Italian couchsurfer, who's been with us

They call it Little Cappadocia and it looks similar indeed. People make their dwellings in hollowed-out stone spires, making this village look unreal.

And tomorrow I'm leaving Iran at last and entering Turkey. It was a great experience and I liked Iran very much. It has it's problems but for a traveller it's like an Eastern Fairytale came true.
