When you think of meditation what comes to mind immediately is getting away from your busy schedule for a few minutes or an hour and switching off your mind completely - except focusing on your breath. Meditainment is free and is one of the best on the internet. If you want access to all the different meditations you need to pay for it, but the free version is enough for the purpose of starting your meditation journey. The sounds of the narrators are also very calming and will lead you to good meditation sessions.

Relax With Andrew Johnson is also an app that helps you meditate. Andrew has an amazing voice and assists you've with relaxing your entire body before putting your mind into a deep sense of calm. Many people use this app for not only helping with meditation but for pain relief since it is so effective.



If you would like a large variety of meditation sessions to choose from the best place to look for is YouTube. It's the place where I started, choosing short ten minute guided meditations and then extending it to thirty minutes every day. There are all kinds of meditation sessions available on the site, some by professionals and others by individuals who have composed their own videos with background Instrumentals to help you Meditate.
