Are we out of the slumps yet?
That's probably the question that most have, me included.
Being rather late into cryptocurrency, I'm not exactly used to such volatility but I stomach in everything. People were saying it's normal, it's just a market correction, pullbacks are necessary considering the way the market soared for the past weeks... blah blah blah...
There was no doubt that I was considering my options the past week. Should I shift to safer coins? Is there a safer coin? Should I cash out and wait till the dust settles?
I got more and more confused...
I did what most would do... HODL
Rash decisions, more often than not, will hurt.
You haven't lost what you haven't sold to accept the losses.
I left it to the hands of God and trust in the due diligence of my research that caused me to make the decisions to invest in what I have invested in.
And suddenly "Invest only what you can afford to lose" makes a lot of sense. I'm glad that was what I did.
Could I have done something better with that money? I probably could but I reminded myself that I could afford to lose all that. That is the POWER I believe any investor must have.
Is it all good now?
No one knows but it's good to see green after what some called the worst bloodbath so far. Well, at least that is comforting, I'm not the only one panicking and I'm hoping if I see through this, I will have stories to tell. What comes in the future will hopefully be easier on the stomach.
If you have invested in a technology you believed in then nothing has changed, it's just bumps and humps to the destination.
No one was promised a smooth journey.
If this is the worst bloodbath thus far, aren't you glad that you survive through it? Will there be a worse? Probably but this will be the valuable experience to hopefully live through another.
We are all still very new and there are bound to have growing pains. Growth will happen no matter how slow.
We are all on a journey, remember to enjoy the sights and sounds along the way, and do good as much as possible.
