Red Snapper is one of the tastiest fish that i have ever eaten in my life!! So whenever i find this at the fish monger , for sure i will take one whole to cook at home! You can do multiple recipe with red snapper, but i personally prefer it baked whole with some spices to give it a kick!
You guessed it right, today on FOOD DIARIES Act 6, I will show you an easy and quick recipe of red snapper like i did today! Hope you enjoy it!
WHOLE BAKED RED SNAPPER
For this recipe you will need :
• Red Snapper 1pcs -Whole about 800gms
• Chopped Coriander 1 bunch
• Lemon 1pcs – Half squeezed and half sliced
• Salt to taste
• Tomato 1pcs - chopped
• Curcuma 1tsp
• Cumin powder 1tsp
• Ginger powder ½ tsp
• Garlic bulb – ½ pcs – chopped
• Paprika 1tsp
• Olive oil – 4tsp
• Black peppercorn – ½ tsp
Marinate the fish with all the spices listed above, add the lemon juice and olive oil! Give the fish a nice spice massage!!
The fish must look like that after the marination. Add some lemon slices and tomato on top of the fish by cutting slightly the skin.
Put on a baking tray and cook at 165 degrees for 35 minutes. The above picture is after 30 minutes of cooking! Nearly done!!!
Here it is after the cooking time! You can eat it with a nice bowl of salad, some french baguette or even rice! The explosion of flavor is simply amazing in this recipe and the fish melts in your mouth!!!
