Reality is not enough.
We need imagination and dreams to augment the facts. To say that daydreaming is a waste of time is a mutilation of everything our very lives are built upon.
I urge kids to daydream. To get lost in their own heads. But it wasn't too long ago that children were punished for daydreaming.
Reality alone is not enough to exist on. Without hope life is merely survival. Without imagination, the universe cannot grow. Without dreams we remain at a stand still.
Without the ability and want to create something bigger and more, there is no movement forward.
Without dreams we perish in the truth.
