Nexus (NXS)
Nexus is a peer-to-peer network that uses three consensus mechanisms (Proof of Work, Hashcash, & Proof-of Holdings) to create a new type ("3D") blockchain. Their blockchain is aimed at providing a decentralized, scalable blockchain that is secure to quantum hacks.
It's ambitions are to put satellites in space using their partnership with Vector Space Systems and turn this satellites into nodes for the network.
These nodes would interact with mesh networks and stations on the ground to create a decentralized system of accessing the blockchain parallel to the Internet.
Nexus has risen 34% recently in the past 24 hours. Is the SingularityNET partnership announcement fueling this rise or is the decentralized space blockchain catching more awareness?

ICON (ICX)
ICON is focused on linking blockchain communities through the ICON NEXUS which is the blockchain of ICON.
The goal is to be able to connect independent community based blockchains that might have different governance models with one another. Allowing different blockchains to interact with one and another allowing for a greater decentralized network.
