Startup Blabber #014: TUDA

Dear Steemians,

Recently, I was offered a wonderful opportunity to advise a project, Tutor's Diary, or TUDA that wrote its first post on Steemit yesterday. What makes my involvement in this project really special is that furthering education has really been a lifelong dream for me. While I may not take my full day-to-day responsibilities to education, since I currently am working full-time at Althea, I will be able to use my advisory role to fulfill a passion that I have had for a while.

I've had the privilege of attending schools that were really beneficial to me. While I may not remember all the details from my high school physics class, what I do remember are the following:

Learning how to solve problems
Working with other people
Creating and maintaining a work ethic
Perseverance and endurance
A great circle of friends, plus much much more!

After working with the TUDA team, I've come to spark up that dream once again. TUDA is a blockchain project currently going through its private sale round of its ICO. It will be a platform built on Steem's SMT protocol.

What they envision is to empower teachers and create the largest community of teachers in the world, who will be given an opportunity to teach students if they choose. These educational professionals may not want to pursue a career in teaching. By utilizing the SMT protocol, they will be given an opportunity to make additional income by creating awesome posts that further educational knowledge. For those that want to teach, the TUDA project will have capabilities to solve one-off problems, to teach classes, and to ultimately teach courses. All of these problems, classes, and courses will be rigorously verified by other users on the TUDA platform via the "proof-of-brain" protocol that Steem has developed.

I wanted to take time and introduce this project to everyone. I hope people get more interested and take the time to read their whitepaper!
