Growing food develops an intimate relationship to and respect for it. Learn more about our food reality by reading our previous post. We love to share our food, and cooking up big pots of soup for our community and neighbors is a great way to create an abundance of yummy food love for everyone!
Soup is regularly bubbling away over the rocket stoves in our sustainable outdoor kitchen this time of year, and they are great ways to use our bountiful produce. This soup is not only comforting and delicious, but it's packed with healthful nutrients! Pumpkin has beta-carotene, vitamins A and C, and fiber. They are anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and antiviral. The only thing better than sharing food is sharing food that increases health and wellness!
