Two consecutive afternoons, my friend and co-teacher told me to open youtube and play EXO songs.
I searched as told the "Lotto" of the hit Korean Pop Idol EXO. I was amazed of the whole performance even if I do not understand the lyrics and one member caught my attention. I asked my co-teacher who he is... She said his name is Chanyeol.
I was very interested of him so I searched him in Google and look for his face / image. And yes, he is a very good looking man. Youtube also tells me that he can play the piano, drums, and guitar aside from being a good rapper, singer and dancer. He is indeed, a very talented artist and member of EXO.
So, let my pencils and hands praise his awesomeness.

| I always start with the outline using a pencil. I used a mechanical pencil this time. Again, I did not put too much pressure in it |  |
| I decided to use a Prismacolor Premeirefor this portrait since I have not used it for a long time. One of the hardest things that is done using colored pencil is choosing the right colors especially for the skin. So, you really have to test the colors you will use in a separate paper before you use it in your drawing. |  |
| I posted a WIP in facebook and ask suggestion from people how to do the hair. However, I only get encouragement from people that I can do it. Yes, it help for me. You need to be inspired to come up with a good output. |  |
| I think I did good with the hair here. Although, it is not very realistic but I am satisfied of it. We always have to think that we can still improve in our next artworks. For a self-taught artist like me, this is already enough. |  |
| I continued doing the face of our Kpop Idol, Chanyeol. Here I used darker colors for the shadow part of the face. |  |
| For the lips, I think I used 4 colors in here. I used a pale pink as base, rose pink for the upper and lower lip, white and black to divide the two lips apart. |  |
| Then I drew the right ear and the inner shirt of Chanyeol. I used a Black Faber Castell color pencil. |  |
| Then, finally, I work on the suit. I used a silver grey color pencils. I apologize for the visible strokes, I think I still have to practice a bit more in coloring large spaces. |  |
