Super Old Collaboration with my friend Troy The Kid out in San Francisco (Frisco) who produced this beat using the sample from Summer Madness, the original song hit from funk legends Kool & The Gang released in 1974, which is ironic because Will Smith also used the same sample for his own remake of the original, and I have gotten some comparison compliments to Will Smith,
LL Cool J
and Tupac
throughout my growth as a musician/artist/performer for their sound, style, positive vibes, optimistic, caring lyrics and conscious movement within their community.
That is definitely something I can agree with, that we have those attributes in common. I appreciate all the support from you all. I hope you enjoy this one, it was one of the first times I was beginning to assist other artists with writing their verses and then I would transition over to a songwriter for artists, as well as, a ghostwriter of sorts as I continued improving my writing craft. This song was about 5 or more years ago.
Stay tuned for more and please press play.

Lyrics Below:
Verbal D
Lead In:
What is life?
Can you tell me what it's like?
Can somebody please turn up the mic.
I know one day, I'll have to fight for my rights to live life
Tonight, tonight
Verbal D
Hook:
What is life?
It’s not the things that you have
It’s the people all around through the good and the bad
So what’s it like?
To feel the happiness, to have a home,
Work a job, support yourself and do it all on your own?
Turn up the mic
But not to silence the world
It’s to reach across the globe and teach the boys and the girls
You’ve got to fight
Not amongst yourselves,
Unite together, then you fight together, you can never fail C'mon!
Verbal D
Verse 1:
Cause I only want you to succeed
I can open up a door…
But it’s up to you to proceed
Don’t worry about it
Be about it, just gotta believe
If you have a goal
Don’t let it go
Cause you’ve got to achieve
No time for stress
But take a rest
When it’s harder to breathe
To push yourself
To the limits
And into outer leagues
Prepare yourself
To change yourself
If you’re willing to be
A better you
And never do the
Things that’ll mislead
Life after that
Won’t come so easily
So work consistently,
Working hard like them harvesters
Who roll up their sleeves
So many branches of siblings
It’s a circle of life
You are their axis
And they're revolving like rotaries.
The generation of children
depend on what we feed
So we gotta provide them with
guidance and right role modeling
I got a message from God and Christ
So whether you're wrong or right
Let’s start anew and make each other strong tonight

Verse 2:
Pass me the light,
In this world full of darkness
Let me spark this
I’mma guard this
Protector and an artist
Gotta work the hardest
Farmer in the fields whose collecting on his harvest
You reap what you sow
A breeze and a flow
Keep a strong mind, and a heart that’s the largest
Keep God first, regardless
Through the ups and downs
The Joy and Pain, Sun and Rain
The seasons change, but we the same
The people
Let’s work as one
Cause no man is island
Divine intervention
Up to heaven we are climbing
Only together, we can go the farthest
To change the world, you ain’t gotta be the smartest
Just live, love life
Unite
And fight for your right to celebrate your blessings (x2)

I'll still be continuing accepting donations until I can reach my goal to fly out to america with my children and wife to visit my family as it is very urgent indeed.
I've raised $291 and .17 cents of Steemit Currency in total from both My Posts and Donations from Steemit Community Members this 2017 forward and $00.00 in US Dollar Donations so far towards my goal of $ 6,000.00 (Six Thousand) US Dollars and will keep everyone updated with every new future post that I submit.
This total amount will not only include donations I've received to the Paypal account I've provided: CompletelyQJS@yahoo.com, but it will also include the Steemit Currency that I accrue/receive from all of my personal posts starting the 1st of January of 2017 forward calculated after a 48 hour time frame is finished for the payout cycle of each post to avoid miscalculating the fluctuating price of Steemit Currency.
For more information on that, please check my New Year's/Happy Bday Post
