The perfect image will make your Steemit post POP, whereas a bad one will make your readers keep on scrollin'. Plus, using images without attribution or permission is a copyright infringement.

I tend to prefer my images to be absolutely permission free just to avoid any possible future ramifications, but there comes times when you found the perfect image on Google and just have to use it! If that happens, first be sure you have the proper permission from the original poster. You do not want a nasty cease and desist letter from an attorney!
