Update: Saturday is here ! Prayer Request, Donations, Upvotes, Resteems for Debbie

Hi Steemians!

Happy Saturday! Many out there have to work on Saturdays, and for me, today I am very blessed to be resting from day job today and able to do some chores before heading off to a conference which just finished not so long ago.

Today is a special day, where we update the donation drive total from my first Plea post for Debbie that was first published 7 days ago.

Since then, there were great response from the Steemit community, either via upvotes and resteems, prayers and even donations!

In here I would like to once again thank all the awesome people who spread the news into this Steemit platform

I am utterly grateful for the response of the whole community.

While waiting for the progress post to mature (which is supported by #upfundme), and another 3 more fund raising posts via upvotes by @elizacheng, @liewsc and @craftsofluv (this is where another special care act movement is running for Debbie - and I wanted to separate it because that is actually related to what the account serves - making crafts and greeting cards), I would like to give everyone some updates.

Before that, let me just point you the ongoing posts (that are about to end) where you can still support via upvotes:

How is Debbie?

Yesterday during home fellowship I managed to speak to Linda and asked how is Debbie coping; and with good report she said that Debbie still fights fearlessly by constantly eating healthy, exercise, and make time for her son by sending him to school daily, except during her chemotherapy session and recovery.

The parents of her son's classmates are very helpful by providing lifts to Lucas to school during days when she is physically unfit to drive out.

She is still a sunshine to many people around her.

So now, let's come to the main event of this post.

After I have posted the progress from yesterday, we have received extra donations on both this main account and @craftsofluv account; along with the maturity of the original post.

*Please note that all 0.001 SBD donations will be accumulated for postal charges for the raffle prize in the care act challenge post

We have 11.15 21.15 SBD from donations (yesterday and today) and we have 13.152 SBD from original post and prayer request comment from @wilx 's daily prayer request post.

Added with what we have previously, 81.915 SBD...

This is what we have as of right now.



We were not able to achieve 100% at the moment, but we are still waiting for the rest of the post to mature as we speak.
*Note: I missed out gamehouse's donation, and I have just updated it both from screen capture and the progress bar. Thank you @howtostartablog for double-checking for me.

According to today's exchange rate this is what we get from our calculator bot from @superoo7

Therefore today's total will be converted to MYR1142

based on current conversion rate of 1 sbd = 8.8384975925 myr

But we are still hopeful and confident that we could still hit the target before the card completes and I pass both the card and money in MYR to Debbie.


At least We are looking forward about 1/3 of the 75% within this post will be added into the donation pool.
