Drawing like a pro - 19, HOMEWORK CONTEST - Week #2 (Power up 100%)

Homework_week2.jpg

Hi friends!

This Homework Contest is related to the previously published Masterclass and aims to encourage you and help you put into practice the teachings and advice given in all the previously published drawing lessons.

At this stage of the Masterclasses, the most important thing is the knowledge of techniques that will be very useful in the future. Therefore, you should not try too hard to make perfect or very realistic drawings but rather to put into practice the teachings contained in these publications.

This video is a summary of the Masterclass Sketching, the first traces previously published, so I suggest you watch that post first to get a better understanding of the drawing process shown here.

ATTENTION!

This video appears to be of low quality, but it is not.
The strokes made in this sketch are very very soft, almost invisible, so it is very difficult to show them in a video. I had to increase the contrast of the video images to make them visible for you.
Then, when you do this exercise, try to make the strokes of your drawing very smooth, considering that the sketch will be the base for the next stage. Do not enhance the strokes in your drawing!

HOMEWORK CONTEST - Week #2

*

This Homework Contest takes as reference the Masterclass Sketching, the first traces given in the previous post.

The task: you must make a drawing similar to the one I showed in the video above and explain step by step in Sketching, the first traces

It is not mandatory to make an exact replica of the drawing shown as an example, but if you want, you can do it.

For this exercise, don't erase the helplines used to achieve the drawing.

It is very important to draw following the advice and teachings given. Your work will be assessed based on the application of those teachings. Do not forget that the objective of these drawing lessons is to provide you with the necessary tools and knowledge to master the craft of drawing in all its aspects.

Take it easy, do not try to make complex drawings because that is not the objective of the task.
