On Friday we introduced you to the first of our team, Robert. Now we would like to introduce you to one of the real clever guys of the team, Jaco Rossouw. Jaco is a technology visionary that has solved business problems through the use of technology all over the world. Finding blockchain and crypto currency quickly made him understand that he can now solve problems for the world as a whole.

Jaco (@jacor) is one of the founder members of SportsPodium.

Jaco started life as a developer, working on some incredibly projects in the 1990’s, including projects for British Defence. But his entrepreneurial spirit has always been his true driving force, and was instrumental in launching a TV channel in the UK, which was the first South African television channel to broadcast outside the borders out of South Africa. He has had his own software business, and was an early adopter of platforms such as SharePoint. As a technology and to market strategist for numerous large African ICT companies, Jaco has distinguished himself in the corporate world as well.

Jaco is a people’s person and a massive sports fan, and through his personal experience and ability to solve problems, he is the original creator of the idea that has become SportsPodium. He and his lovely wife are parents to two beautiful children, and he is a devout family man.

“Technology allows us to change the world” says Jaco. This underpins what we are doing in SportsPodium, changing things in the world that can work better by using technology.
