The Crypto Gold Rush 2018 | Who Wins The Most?

Everyone must be aware of the American Gold Rush when gold diggers scrambled to be the first to find gold. Later it turned out that the people who made the most money were not those who got the largest amount of gold but those who sold shovels and other digging accessories. I would guess that at the time any individual or business that helped people to make it more convenient comfortable for the in their gold journey would have profited handsomely.

In the same manner it may not be only the buyers of bitcoins and alt coins who are making the most money, neither the ones trading in them. It may be those who are creating tools or services to make it easier for people to mine coins and those who build tools for crypto trading, who are really the ones who are making the best out of the crypto gold rush.

Facebook Groups

Some of the biggest cryptocurrency groups are on Facebook. Membership runs into tens of thousands and the groups are usually owned by a single or a few individuals. I have observed that not a day goes by without the group page owners promoting their latest crypto trading software or their premium newsletter. My guess is that the sale of their own products brings in more money than their trading, that is, if they trade at all.

Exchanges

On a larger scale of business you have the cryptocurrency exchanges. Each time a currency is changed the exchange gets a fee in exchange. With millions of transactions taking place in a month the exchanges must have a turnover equal to or more than some corporations in the offline world and some of the largest online portals.

Apps

Let's not forget the plethora of apps that are available in the app stores. Most of them are created by individuals who make a regular income from those apps through monetization with ads especially if the apps are free to use. Usually that is at least a few thousand dollars which would be more than their profits from crypto trading.

Websites

I haven't counted the thousands of websites and blogs in the cryptocurrency niche that monetize their sites through ads and affiliate links to various tools and services. Not only websites, if you watch videos on YouTube you will invariably find affiliate links beneath the videos.

Steemit?

Looking inside Steemit you may be surprised to know that it may not be the creators of the posts shown on the trending pages who make the most money. Instead it may most probably be the owners and operators of upvoting bots who may be reaping in the maximum profits. So also could be the makers of various tools and apps that are used by Steemit members to help them while blogging, upvoting and curation easy.

Disclaimer

Now let me make it clear that I am not against affiliates, any person or product who recommends tools, products or services or against the tools or services themselves, but for the purpose of this article I am giving information that many may not be aware of.

In fact almost all the tools that I know about and also use, provide a valuable service and make things easy for users, and even help create monetary gains where there might have been none.
