Week 25 Odds.jpg

I mentioned in my last weekly results roundup that "my plan is to slow down a bit on the amount of bets and regain some of my focus and momentum" going into week 25. I haven't taken any pre-game bets yet and am still going trough for some more info on all the matches, so the other previews will be slowly added one by one next 24 hours.

Antwerp vs Waasland

Waasland-Beveren lost key player Morioka which will be a big blow for the remainder of the season. I've been waiting all season for a match without him to oppose Waasland, but now that it's finally there the matchup is not what I like it to be. Waasland still have their eye on play-off 1 and can play without any fear while Antwerp who played 3 draws in a row (against good teams) are inside Play-off 1 and don't want to lose their spot. In these kind of situations my lean always goes out the the team who are behind. One of those wait and see live matches, in the past I also mentioned how Antwerp can be both a very overish or very underish team depensing on circustances. This match can go both ways in that regard. The situation I will look out for live is Antwerp taking the lead to see Waasland take a lot of risk and be punished late in the match.

Lokeren vs Standard

Lokeren took a surpirise win away in Oostende and have a strong pattern of being a strong away team (8W-2L-2P vs asian closing line) and a poor home team (2W-6L-4P vs asian closing line). They are as good as clear from relegation with 9 points ahead and 6 matches to go so I don't expect this to be a closed down match fron the start. Standard have been in excellent form with a 3-3 draw where they dominated Anderlecht and a 4-1 victory over Club Brugge in the cup. They are still in reach for a playoff 1 spot, so I expect them not to rotate too heavily with an eye on the 2nd leg cup semi-final. Betting Standard is what I'm looking at. Lokeren rarely takes the lead in matches and Standard should look for a strong start to conserve energy afterwards with an eye on the cup match. I took some 1st Half Standard -0.25 @ 2.21

Eupen vs AA Gent

Eupen are no longer in last place after a home win and an away draw. Last week they played defensively again to get a point which is exactly what they got against Kortrijk. AA Gent are in good form and won deserved at home from Club Brugge. The match against Eupen will mostlt be determined by the first goal. When it comes and who scores should open a lot of live betting scenarios. So that's my plan going in, wait for the first goal to come and see from that point on. I will also keep my eye out on the (late) over in case AA Gent are in the lead and Eupen need to open up. Latest 8 matches of both teams combined have gone Over 9.5 corners 7 times.

Stvv vs Kortrijk

Kortrijk is in between Cup semi-final matches, they won the first leg away against Genk with 2-3 and they might rotate in this match. Odds to me are set towards them not playing their full A-squad. I will keep my eye out when line-ups are out to maybe take a bet. Kortrijk has been a free scoring team as of lat and are still in reach for play-off 1. Line-up is key for this match, so nothing pre-game.

Moeskroen vs Genk

Genk are in a really bad spot. They lost the cup match against Kortrijk and played a really poor match at home against stvv. Moeskroen are safe from relegation and they should play to score. Genk has been a team unable to keep a clean sheet for a long time while Moeskroen are a smaller team that score at least 1 goal most of the time. I took what what available at pinnacle on the pre-game Moeskroen Team Total Over 1 @ 2.13 in this one and will be looking at Moeskroen if Genk again plays a poor match..

Anderlecht vs Mechelen

It would not be the first time to see a team in big trouble take points in an away match against a top teams late in the season. I have been opposing Mechelen the last couple weeks and will be looking to do the same. Anderlecht are also not in a great spot which might be the reason for the line movement (ganvoula potentially in line-up). I'm really tempted to take some on Anderlecht -1 @ 1.93, but I am always extremely careful when opposing these kind of line movements. I will be more willing to take Anderlecht when late money comes in on them or when some 'bad team or line-up news is confirmed and line moves more against them. Live I will be looking at a potential Mechelen collapse when they get behind.

Club Brugge vs Charleroi

I can be short on this one, Club Brugge seem to be in a decline and have not reached their impressive level last 2 matches. The odds seem to be adjusted to this and I will keep a very close eye live on this match and will look to take Club Brugge (1st half) if they manage to reach their normal dominating level.

Zulte-Waregem vs Oostende

Zulte-Waregem are always an interesting team when it comes down to potential over and late over bets which is what I will be looking at live. Pre-game odds don't offer anything worth having a look at.
