Day 32: 5 Minute Freewrite - Prompt: scream

This is my Day 32: 5 Minute Freewrite - Prompt: scream

The screaming in her head never stopped.

Day and night it was there.

She controlled it as best she could but some days were harder than others.

On those days she would go to a room and be alone. Sometimes the quiet helped lessen the screaming.

Not always, but sometimes.

She never remembered when it wasn't there.

When she first found out others didn't have it she was surprised, then jealous.

It was her load to carry for being who she was.

When you feel so much from the world around you, the good, the bad and the boring...........it has to go somewhere.

For her, it was in her head.

She was not lonely. She made friends. Not a lot of close friends, as it took too much out of her to keep too many people happy.

It drained her and then the screaming got louder.

She found that it was best to not be around people when it was at it's worst.

It sounds lonely from the outside, but in reality feeling that deeply of the world around her was a gift she would never give up.

Happy Writing!
