Iceland! Heitapottir and rotten shark! What do they offer for a metalhead? Quite a lot in fact. This little volcanic oasis known for everything els but music. The Vintage Caravan is a trio that i was very pleased to see last time I was at Desertfest, London. It must have been 2014. I included the video to "Expand your mind", since it is hillarious.

The Vintage Caravan is another example of the retro 70's inspired wave I've been seeing over the past years. I have friends that submerge themselves in retro this, retro that. And it is OK. Styles come and go and it has been a revival in this scene. I'm not too excited about it, I need a healthy dose of amp-worship and vocals that don't suck. Which is kind of timeless. And it fits everything. But I like some of the songs TVC has brewed in their rather strange laboratory.
Among these are the video linked here, Expand your mind". But I will also mention "Craving", "Let Me Be" and "Midnight Meditation".
