I offered up to the Steemit Artist Community an Invitation to collaborate on this photograph:

This is a photo I took on our deck of the shadow of our little cafe table. Shadows and reflections really inspire me and I take every opportunity to capture their beauty.

Then, 19 more artists took my image and

did their own creative thing

to produce 28 Collaborative Masterpieces.

As the final colours of the day

Shine their fading warmth

Red and green tint the polished stone floor

Silence wraps itself in a calming embrace

As night throws over its sapphire cloak

Headlights illuminate the panes

With flashes of moving light

That is only captured in peripheral vision

My focus lost to deeper thoughts.

The Solar Clock story/poetry by @jyezie:

Everyone felt his or her internal clock ticking. Today, or tonight for some, was the twelve hour ceremony.

Each year, at the exact same moment

...the light of the sun is clouded by a chronograph.
No seconds, no minute, just the hours passing.
The humanity had 6 hours to prepare for 6 hours of special dreams.
In an order as variable as the dreamers, each hour had its Dream:
love-hate-pleasure-pain-joy-fear.
The deep slumber came, avidly enthralling a world in its nest
The senses acutely awoken while the bodies rest

Enters the pain
With fire on every pore

Swords threatens the veins
As the fear joins the galore

Love heals the wounds
blessed by a faerie moon

Hate eclipses your sight
while anger clouds wrong and right

Pleasure dilutes the hell, the scene
drops after drops of ecstasy

Music notes have you on your feet

sprinkling joy on your choreography
