Gracias por las fotos, son muy bonitas. Mis hermanas han visto también tus fotos. Pensaron que tenías más de 19 años. Tal vez sea porque te ves más mayor con ese uniforme.

En la última carta te escribí que iba a cambiar de trabajo. Ahora he encontrado un nuevo trabajo. En diciembre me voy de donde trabajo ahora. Encontré un trabajo en "Sassenheim." (Tal vez conoces ese lugar) Está cerca de Leiden. Mi hermana también está trabajando allí.

No entiendo cuando dijiste que el clima en España era malo. Mi hermana ha ido a España, el 7 de octubre, pero ha tenido clima fenomenal, a unos 28 grados. Ella ha estado en Salou.

Cuando estaba esperando tu carta, estaba en el hospital, operándome de una apendicitis. Me quedé una semana allí. No fue muy agradable. No tenía mucho que hacer allí. Pero me he divertido mucho con las dos chicas a mi lado en la misma habitación. Cuando salí del hospital tuve que descansar dos semanas más en casa. En mi trabajo estaban muy contentos de que estaba mejor otra vez. Me alegré de poder empezar a trabajar de nuevo, porque dos semanas en casa no es tan divertido.

Me escribiste que habías ido a ver la película GREASE. Yo también fui a verla. Me gustó esa película. Las canciones son buenas. Me gustan esas canciones. ¿Pero fuiste solo de vacaciones y adónde fuiste, a qué país?

No entiendo lo que quiere decir: "Je resté a chez moi" (Me quedé en mi casa) Tal vez me quieres explicar eso.

Ahora quierocontarte algo sobre mi familia.

En mi familia somos 8 personas: Padre, madre, 4 chicas y dos chicos. Nadie se casó todavía. La mayor es Lyda (tú sabes quién es) tiene 22 años. Después viene Willly. De 21 años, ella tiene un novio, su nombre es Simon. Después Yvon, de 20 años, tiene un novio durante 4 años, su nombre es Bert. Después yo, de 19 años. He tenido un novio durante 3 años cuando tenía 15 años. Pero eso terminó en diciembre del año pasado. Después Jan, (tú también lo conoces) de 17 años, él tiene una novia llamada Lilian.

Después Paul (tú también lo conoces) tiene 11 años.

Lyda y Willy trabajan en la enfermería. Yvon y yo estamos trabajando en una oficina. Jan y Paul todavía están en la escuela. Juntos tenemos una familia encantadora. Creo que eres el mayor de tu familia. ¿Tengo razón?

Dear Jésus - Lieve Jesus

Thanks for the photos, they are very nice. My sisters have seen too your photos. They thought you were older than 19 years. Maybe it’s because you look older in that uniform.

Last letter I wrote you I was going to change of job. Now I’ve found a new job. In December I go away where I work now. I found a job in “Sassenheim.” (Maybe you know that place) It’s near Leiden. My sister is also working there.

I don’t understand when you said the weather in Spain was bad. My sister has gone to Spain, the 7 the of October, but they have had beautifull weather, about 28 degrees. She has gone to Salou.

When I was waiting for your letter, I lay in hospital, operating for apendicitis. One week I lay there. It was not very nice. I had not much to do there. But I’ve had much fun with the two girls next to me in the same room. When I was out of the hospital I had to rest two weeks more at home. At my work they were very glad I was better again. I was glad too I could start work again, because two weeks home is not so nice.

You wrote me you’d gone to the film GREASE. I went there too. I did like that film. The songs are good. I like those songs. But did you went alone on holiday and where did you go to, what country.

I don’t understand what you mean by: “Je resté a chez moi”(I stayed at my house) Maybe you want to explane that.

Now I want to tell you something about my family.

Lyda and Willy are in the nursing. Yvon and me are working in an office. Jan and Paul are still at school. Together we have got a lovely family. I think you are the eldest one of your family. Am I write?

Now I want to finish the letter because it’s very late now. I hope you write a letter again soon.
