Where does the time go? It seems to be flying at the moment and no matter how much time I spend trying to catch up I always seem to be getting further behind. The good weather is not helping either, so much warm sunny weather just makes you want to be outside enjoying it - especially in the UK when it is rare to have sunny weather and you can guarantee we will soon be set for a summer of rain again.
I am however making better progress on Steemit then I have over the past few weeks, it's still a struggle to get around the constantly growing range of accounts I follow - I try my best but there are just so many keeping track of your all is a massive undertaking.
One very good way though is through #SublimeSunday , the tag giving you the opportunity to share whatever fun, creative or different ideas. It's quite humbling that so many people join in and share wonderful, diverse content with the tag. This week I enjoyed a Harbour View with @melinda010100 including a beautiful tree that has a very unusual look to it's blossom. Hot behind it, the British Royal Wedding featured in @redheadpei post as she shared her experience of it.
I do love seeing different buildings from around the world, and this Blue Mansion shared by @nolasco is just stunning, so many wonderful photos of this amazing building built by Cheong Fatt Tze, a Chinese merchant and now a museum with guided tours.
It seemed @robertandrew had moved to the UK, in his sitting the monsoon out on the Porch post he also shared some insightful points about expanding your horizons by reading hard copy instead of just online content.
If you are a delicate disposition be advised this post Akira by @tygertyger includes a photo with a woman's exposed breast - it's very artistic though and features the wonderful multi-edit image composition that creates amazing pictures like this one she did of me.
Fun and the #Haturday tag by @saffisara go hand in hand, this Fire Eating and Warship Extravaganza by @mcoinz79 is just one of my favourite type of posts, you can guarantee both himself and his boy are always smiling and having a great time whatever they are doing and this was an amazing day out - you need to look out for the Goal! especially.
One of my longest supporters and posters with #SublimeSunday tag reached 500 followers this week and I could not be more happy for @vee2180 who has been consistently working hard on her posts and deserves so much more recognition on them.
And congratulations are also due to @felobtc who shared in this Andretti's Baby Shower post that he is soon to be a Dad, and he shares some wonderful photographs of the Baby Shower while himself and his wife eagerly await the Birth of their Son. And I have to link in to @cooknbake who has had her Baby just one week ago, and is straight back to posting on Steemit - true dedication and in fact she was posting while in hospital!
I do like a post with plenty of pictures and a good story to tell, and @donnadavisart really does make her posts into an immersive journey - and this SublimeSunday at Toad Hall with plants, grey skies and chickens is no exception a wonderful post filled with so many pictures of plants, flowers, vegetables, all around her wonderful garden and even the chickens. And she is also a talented artist as well, I am so pleased she keeps up using my tag because it helps me keep in touch with her posts I adore so much.
@old-guy-photos has continued to promote #SublimeSunday and this week provided a cloudy grey sky view - but at least only skies are grey where he even found a $20 dollar bill - and then gave it to his daughter. So generous Paul (the Upvote slider - it can go up to 100% if you fancy trying it 😉)
@saffisara shared two posts with the tag this week, but I am going to focus on this Raft trip on Malmo Canal because it is a pure delight of a post packed full of gorgeous photographs and a wonderful story with them of her evening out. It is well worth taking the time to go through the entire post, it includes some really excellent photography especially the reflections from the water.
And that just covers the start of the week! Moving on though, I literally blew a fuse this week and that isn't a good place to be when you are roasting coffee. @robertandrew started a new tag though #HappyPlace where you can share whatever your happy place is. And it has quickly grown, with a beautiful rose garden being the special place for @nikolina to go and relax.
Now this quite corner in the countryside looks like the ideal place for @big.mama to relax and take stock of life, or even dream up a new Steemit post. And then @nainaztengra shared her crystal laced happy place which of course I knew crystals would feature in - and such a wonderful special place for relaxing and recharging your spirit.
Home is often where we are the happiest, and @snook shares in this my happy place sitting on the step post some of the wonderful areas in her garden she likes to relax - and don't miss out on the fantastic wood cutter!
And this her HappyPlace by @enginewitty is just so wonderful, with Freya snuggled and peaceful in her daddy's arms.
Another challenge which has spread around Steemit like wildfire is #twelvequestions , a revival of the introduction post reimagined by @hobotang . I have been really enjoying so many of these, and even got tagged myself to do one - whenever I can find time in my busy schedule.
Starting off with a Steak in Space we learn so much more about @bluefinstudios - and that he's a photographer (just in case you didn't know that!)
And then @battleaxe shares her love for active outdoor sports and I also discovered we have the same admiration for newspapers. Being canny she has made hers a two parter, I'm desperate to see what the last answers are!
Who doesn't love Space Pizza and @dreemsteem shares some insightful wisdom about ageing (it's all to do with glasses) and the highly esteemed Olympic sport of giggling. Oh, and it's Dr Moo!
Now @mikesthoughts starts his #TwelveQuestions with an incredible photograph, I love the focus on it so very clever and it gives it so much depth. We also learn he's another one wanting to swim around the space station zero gravity chasing pizza toppings, and he want to go back to the 70's - can't argue with the 75 was a great year.
If you every fancied learning about temporal mechanics it seems @ancapbarbie has the answers to all your questions. I'm still trying to overcome the point a time traveller would take back bacteria nobody of a previous time would be resistant to and cause a pandemic.
If you ever fancied riding dragons then @katrina-ariel has the tips for you, we also learn she's into professional swinging 😳 and she's a good witch who's a bad girl.
And if you like a good Bacon Sandwich then jump into your Kayak and head down river to @artemisnorth
So you will find @shadowspub in the life section of the newspaper and I have to agree with her teaching Respect and Kindness should be top of any class, it costs nothing but seems to be easily forgotten.
Finally you can do the crossword with @enginewitty and enjoy Jim Morrison singing Metallica.
This post is now officially getting a bit long, I forget how my vlog turned into this curation post type extravaganza and it already looks long before I start putting photographs and gifs into it! So the best of the rest will have to be a little bit brief....
@latino.romano did a wonderful freewrite La tostadora de Cafe which was inspired by my #HappyPlace post - I left the English translation in his comments it is a great read.
I like drinking coffee, but this Portrait of my friend by @huslein.slash is painted in it! And it reminds me of this painting of me he did - also in coffee how amazing is that! Good luck with the fasting my friend.
Meanwhile @baby07 had a trip out to visit a friend and enjoyed some of his very tasteful interior house design.
If you are into toilet sweeties then @thekitchenfairy has some for you along with some super sour sweets as well!
The weekly Thankful Thursday donation report from @youarehope was filled again with people sending funds to support charitable works through Steemit. And don't forget if you have little to send, a simple Upvote and Resteem of that post will always help.
@longsliver has been on his travels, but shared these wonderful [Hot Springs}(@longsilver/mystic-hot-springs-utah) during his journey. And then @fishyculture shared a wonderful ShoutoutSaturday with a lack of espresso some fantastic pictures in this one as well - especially @longsilver staring longingly into a closed espresso bar - which reminds me I need to grab another coffee before I carry on!
If you want the chance to win some shiny silver coins head over to @silverd510 who is doing a very generous raffle for some fine silver pieces.
A very interesting post and some excellent graphics in Criterion: Blueprint by @calumam who always seems to be busy with many things including #Buddyup
And @inthenow has created yet another Curation day - T.G.I.F. shout outs where he runs down some of his favourite posts of the weeks - and I very Kindly got a mention thank you so much 😊
I got to share a sip of Caramel Moonshine with @deerjay - it went straight to my head! Talking of going straight to your head, the Premier Witness @sircork shared his Tennesse Meetup Experience and he also revealed another of his many talents - an Arborist no less!
My very long time friend on here @coolguy123 shared another Famous Birthdays from this day in History which always fascinates me seeing so many people share the same Birthday.
I was really impressed with this clever way to Enhance your blog posts with eye catching Headlines it includes of plenty program options to do it and @modernpastor is doing some really excellent blog posts, definitely one to follow if you don't already.
You can enjoy some amazing photography of this stunning church by @crisangel such an amazing place and a wonderful story behind it as well.
And we do all of course now Mum's are the best a lovely sentiment and timely reminder from @ibile
Tonight you can Head over to MSP Waves for Steemit Musicians full details are in this post by @isaria
@snook shares a little Serendipity and tells us in this post how she managed to get caught up with many little tasks she had been putting off - very admirable I know for one I am the worst for trying to put things off!
@hazem91 (one E) shared this wonderful poem including 7 days of positivity and it really a positive poem - I though it could easily be about our journey on Steemit. He's doing well at getting two challenges into one post as well.
Unfortunately now and again you will come across toxic people and in this post @ilhuna shares how to deal with them and retain your own bright outlook on life. Fortunately there are plenty of good people around to dilute the few toxic ones.
You can enjoy a wonderful walk with @topkpop enjoying some beautiful and clever photography - look out for the clouds captured through the trellis.
The @saffisara shared yet another challenge - this time it's The TV Show Way Back Challenge where you can share some of your favourite old TV shows. Following on from this @enginewitty is doing a double series of TV and Music challenges for 7 days with proceeds from the post going towards a very good cause.
Finally you may see in your comments mentions from @brotherhood , you can read more about this brand new upvote bot this is a community based service to help support minnows and is starting out with small bids from 0.1 to 0.3 SBD to brotherhood with a post link in the Memo. They are also getting listed on https://steembottracker.com right now is the perfect time to make use of this new Bot, it has a $1.6sbd upvote and is relatively underused at present so every bid will be very profitable.
That's it for this week's vlog, I can't fit any more in and I need to post this so there is a gap until I start my #SublimeSunday post. As always this is just a few of the posts I caught this week, I would love to fit you all in but there just isn't time!

The greatest challenge we face on Steemit is getting our posts seen, I have always believed the simplest and best value way of doing this is by commenting on the blog posts of others, the more you engage people and interact with them the greater the chance they will visit your own blog and return to the favour.
