Hi friends!
In this lesson, I show you how to draw a pyramid in a two-point perspective using the rules we already study in previous posts.
The procedure is the same as taught in previous lessons, starting with the drawing of a cube and the horizon line. See 38 and later lessons.
With red circles, I have indicated the vertices used to draw the pyramid.
The upper is the centre point of the upper face of the cube drawn with the helplines.
Drawing the shadow
The red diagonal lines indicate the direction of the sun's rays. Red horizontal helplines indicate the ground. See
These are the helplines for drawing a second pyramid. This pyramid will be cut off at the top.
See here the contours of the truncated pyramid and the helplines to draw the shadow.
The two pyramids with their shadows.
Drawing the third shape, this will be a cube with a cut-off corner.
Done.
The exercise finished
I wish you a very nice day and good exercise!
