Hi friends!
We do not take our measurements or in cm. nor in in., or another kind of measures like these.
This is why I consider it essential to know how to draw basic figures without having to take measures for it.
The condition that these figures must meet is to have all their sides equal.
The simplest figure we can draw is the triangle (3 sides). In this case, the triangle that we will draw is an equilateral triangle.
Follow these simple steps:
Draw a circle and place a point on the circumference.
Then, using a drawing compass, measure the radius of the circle and draw a line that intersects the circumference as shown below.
Make the same for the opposite side, bottom.
Now, take the measurement between the two points...
...and draw a third intersection at the circumference on the left side as shown in this drawing below.
To make sure the measurement is correct, do the same thing but in the opposite sense. Both intersections must coincide.
To finish, trace straight lines between the three points to obtain an equilateral triangle. It was easy, right?
