Hi friends!

The pentagon is a very interesting figure and many buildings have been built using this shape as a base.
Today I want to show you how a five-sided figure (a pentagon) is geometrically constructed. I will also show you how to project this geometric figure in perspective.

We start by drawing a circle and then dividing it into four by plotting the vertical and horizontal diameters.
Divide the horizontal radius of the circle in two, then draw a segment from "r/2" to "a" as shown below.

With a drawing compass measure the segment "a - r/2" and draw the arc "ab" intersecting the horizontal diameter.

Now, measure the distance "a - b" and intersect the circle as shown.

Repeat the measurement by crossing around the circle to get the five divisions.

This is the result, a pentagon, that is, a regular shape with five sides.

Now, to draw in perspective you can project this shape in the position you want, always inside the circle. To do this, you must first draw a square in a perspective view and then a circle inscribed in it.
You will get the pentagon drawn in perspective by drawing vertical lines from each corner of the shape until they intersect the circle drawn below the horizon line.
